Azerbaijan Removed from Eurovision Jury
Azerbaijan has been removed from the Eurovision jury, reports eurovision-contest.ru. The decision was announced by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), the organizer of Eurovision.
In addition to Azerbaijan, juries from five other countries—Georgia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, and San Marino—were also excluded during the voting held on May 14. They have been accused of manipulation and violating competition rules.
It is worth noting that the international Eurovision 2022 competition held in Turin was won by Ukraine, represented by the group Kalush Orchestra, which received 631 points. The United Kingdom placed second with 466 points, and Spain came in third with 459 points.
