Independent Lawyers Establish Working Group to Prevent Police Actions: Ara Zohrapyan

“Some police officers are clearly using illegal physical force (sometimes with particular brutality) against citizens participating in peaceful protests and even those who are not involved. Moreover, lawyers and journalists also become targets of this brutality and lawlessness. To prevent these atrocities, we have formed a working group of independent lawyers to counter the police's violence,” stated lawyer Ara Zohrapyan.

The working group will gather information regarding the disproportionate use of force by police and will provide the necessary legal response.
