Serzh Sargsyan Does Not Plan to Hold Any Senior Government Position: Hayk Mamijanyan

The third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, has repeatedly stated that he does not intend to hold any senior government position in the country. This was announced by Hayk Mamijanyan, the secretary of the 'Honorary Have' parliamentary group, during a conversation with journalists at a rally.

“We will be forming a meritocratic government. This means that we will not be forming it according to political parties, but based on merits. Only professionals, whom we need so much today, will hold positions,” he said.
