Aliyev Calls on Armenia
The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has called on Armenia to abandon its territorial claims against Azerbaijan and Turkey.
“Armenia must understand that remaining isolated in the ‘island’ regime of the region is impossible.
The political stance of Armenia is contradictory to any logic within the framework of regional security, cooperation, and the development of the South Caucasus,” he stated.
Speaking about Armenia-Turkey relations, the authoritarian leader of Baku emphasized: “Armenia should improve its relations with Azerbaijan and Turkey while simultaneously renouncing territorial claims against them.”
