VIDEO: Demidiv Village Submerged After Destruction of Irpen River Dam
Demidiv village, located in the northern part of the Kyiv region, has been submerged following the destruction of the Irpen River dam, which flows into the Kyiv reservoir. This is reported by The New York Times, which also provides aerial footage of the situation.
Local residents intentionally dismantled the dam, resulting in the flooding of the village. According to the publication, this action was actually aimed at halting the attack on Kyiv.
