We Are Now at War with the Entire World: Russian Defense Ministry

The Deputy Commander of the Central Military District of the Russian Armed Forces, Major General Rustam Minnikayev, commenting on the course of the special military operation in Ukraine, stated that one of the current goals of the Russian side is to establish control over southern Ukraine and secure another exit to Transnistria, TASS reports.

“Control over southern Ukraine is another exit to Transnistria, where there are also facts of pressure on the Russian-speaking population. Apparently, we are now at war with the entire world, just as we were during the Great Patriotic War. All of Europe, the entire world was against us. It is the same now—they have never loved Russia,” he added.

Minnikayev emphasized that the technical superiority of the Russian military over the Ukrainian Armed Forces is evident in land, sea, and air domains. He mentioned that the special operation must be “successfully brought to its logical conclusion.” He noted that all tasks set will be fulfilled.

“We did not start this war, but we will finish it,” Minnikayev stated.
