The Territorial Defense Will Not Become an Appendix of Any Government: Sasun Mikayelyan

The Union of Territorial Defense Volunteers has been organizing meetings across all regional structures of the republic these days. The aim is to summarize the year and present the changes.

The union has 76 structures throughout the republic. "The Territorial Defense will not become an appendix of any government. The Territorial Defense will stand beside the state and especially the army," Sasun Mikayelyan stated, as reported by aravot.am.

Changes have been made to the composition of the administration, and lists are being cleaned. Membership cards are being updated. "The goal is not merely to change the membership card format created by Manvel Grigoryan and replace it with one created by me, but to ensure that the union comprises individuals who have no connection to the Territorial Defense and have never had it. We are purging our organization," the president of the Territorial Defense Union emphasized.
