Video: Avalanche Near Stepanavan Tunnel
Auroranews has obtained a video from Stepanavan. It is reported that today, at 14:01, the Lori Regional Crisis Management Center received a notification that an avalanche occurred on the Vanadzor-Stepanavan highway, specifically in the area of Bazum village, at kilometers 8-10.
An operational group from the Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and two firefighting rescue units were dispatched to the scene. According to preliminary data, the avalanche has blocked approximately 15 meters of the roadway. Rescue efforts are currently being carried out by the ‘Lore’ rescue team.
