US Delivers First Batch of $800 Million Military Aid Package to Ukraine
The US has delivered the first batch of military aid worth $800 million to Ukraine, a Pentagon representative has informed reporters. According to him, three additional flights are scheduled to depart for Ukraine within the next three days.
Previously, the Pentagon announced that the US would begin providing military assistance to Ukraine this week as part of the largest $800 million package. It is expected that aircraft from the US will land in neighboring countries of Ukraine, from where weapons and ammunition will be delivered by trucks.
US President Joe Biden stated that the package will include 9,000 anti-tank systems, 7,000 artillery weapons, and 20 million rounds of ammunition.
