Who says the Ministry of Defense was unaware of this? Suren Papikyan on the enemy's advance in Nerkhin Hand

During a Q&A session with the Government, Anna Grigoryan, a member of the "Armenia" faction, asked Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan why Azerbaijanis have advanced in the Nerkhin Hand area, and why Armenian citizens see Azerbaijani forces stationed there without any clear statements from the Ministry of Defense.

In response, Minister Papikyan did not provide a specific answer but emphasized the importance of minimizing lies and manipulations regarding the raised questions. He stated, "Who says that the Ministry of Defense was not aware of this beforehand, or that we do not have control over our borders? Should everything be publicly stated? Is it your tactic to publicize things that do not need to be made public? This is the work of the fifth column: to convince the mayor that the community has been deprived of water; these are proven facts."

He further added that not everything should be used for political purposes. "I am ashamed of anyone who tries to turn obvious lies into a twisted narrative and mislead the public. We are now discussing issues that should be excluded through joint efforts, rather than looking for opportunities to equate mud with our own army and the heroism of our soldiers," he concluded.
