Former Prime Minister Boyko Borissov has been arrested in Bulgaria. During a special police operation, several other former high-ranking officials were also detained.
A pre-trial investigation has been initiated against the former Prime Minister. According to Bulgarian television reports, the arrests are linked to 120 cases of misuse of EU funds by former officials.
