A Powerful Cyclone Approaches Armenia

In the evening hours of March 18 and on March 19 and 20, snow is expected across the entire territory of the republic, with blizzards and low horizontal visibility in mountainous regions. This is reported by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.

Intensive snowfall is anticipated in the mountainous areas of Aragatsotn, Lori, Tavush, Vayots Dzor, as well as in the mountainous and foothill regions of Syunik.

The low-lying areas of the Ararat Plain will be an exception, where precipitation is expected to fall as wet snow.

The air temperature during the day on March 20 will drop by 5-6 degrees Celsius across the republic.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
