Pashinyan and Putin Had a Phone Conversation
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a phone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. This was reported by the Government.
The two discussed the situation surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh and addressed the implementation of the agreements outlined in the trilateral statements of November 9, 2020, January 11, 2021, and November 26, 2021.
Nikol Pashinyan and Vladimir Putin also talked about Armenia's request for co-chairmanship in the OSCE Minsk Group, which pertains to the organization of negotiations for a peace treaty.
The leaders exchanged views on Armenian-Turkish dialogue, recent regional developments, and the situation in Ukraine.
Questions regarding the upcoming official visit of the Prime Minister of Armenia to the Russian Federation were also discussed.
