Several Roads Closed to All Types of Vehicles in Armenia

The Roads Department Foundation reports that as of March 14 at 14:50, the Vardenyats Pass, the Gndevaz-Jermuk road, and the Ttujur-Navur highway are closed to all types of vehicles.

Traffic congestion has occurred in the Gorayk-Zanger section of the Sisian region, causing the road closure from the Jermuk intersection to Sisian for all types of vehicles in collaboration with the traffic police.

Due to heavy rain and low visibility, the Saravan Pass is closed to vehicles with trailers, making it impassable for passenger vehicles.

The bends of the Stepanavan region are also difficult to navigate for vehicles with trailers. The Dilijan and Spitak bends are closed to trailer vehicles.

Road construction teams are carrying out cleaning and sanding work on the highways. Other interstate and national significance highways remain open.
