Tens of Thousands of Women and Children, Thousands of Casualties: This Is Not Ukraine, This Is Artsakh, and the World Couldn’t Care Less – French Journalist
The deputy editor of French Le Figaro Magazine, Jean-Christophe Buisson, referenced the 44-day war in Artsakh in a tweet amid the Russian-Ukrainian crisis.
“A president in military uniform, who stayed with his people to defend his country, tens of thousands of women and children who became refugees, thousands of casualties. But this is not Ukraine; this is Artsakh in 2020. Very few journalists were interested at that time, and the whole world simply didn’t care about it,” the French journalist wrote, according to infoport.
