Dear Women: Nikol Pashinyan Sends Congratulations
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of International Women's Day, stating:
“Dear women,
Warmest congratulations to you all on International Women's Day, March 8. Especially on this day, we are filled with particular warmth towards the women surrounding us, becoming more attentive and caring.
Your caring nature, wisdom, and patience have preserved and maintained the strength of our families for centuries, raising children who love their homeland above all else. Your dedication to the family and to the Fatherland contributes to the preservation and strengthening of our national traditions.
Simultaneously, this day emphasizes the significance of March 8, related to the protection of women’s rights. I would like to highlight that ensuring equal rights between women and men and full participation in all areas of public life is one of the Government of Armenia's priorities. We are continuously working on enhancing the role of women in public life, protecting labor rights, safeguarding those subjected to violence, and ensuring women's involvement in state administration, local self-government bodies, and political processes. It is no coincidence that numerous women are successfully active in high positions within the state administration, as well as in law enforcement and in maintaining public life today, and I hope that their numbers will continue to grow.
Dear women,
Our Government will pursue the solutions to the problems you raise and will consistently promote the full realization of your potential. Once again, I congratulate all of you on this beautiful holiday, wishing you family warmth, prosperity, happiness, optimism, professional success, and new initiatives.”
