Turkey Aims to Host Meeting Between Russia and Ukraine's Foreign Ministers in Antalya: Cavusoglu
The Turkish authorities wish to organize a meeting between Russian and Ukrainian Foreign Ministers Sergey Lavrov and Dmytro Kuleba in Antalya as part of a diplomatic forum. This was announced today by Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu during a press conference following an extraordinary meeting of NATO's foreign ministers, as reported by TASS.
“Turkey is one of the few countries that can establish a dialogue with both sides. Even before the war began, we had planned to invite both foreign ministers to a diplomatic forum in Antalya, but that was before the war. We want to organize a meeting between the Ukrainian and Russian sides at the ministerial level. Lavrov confirmed his participation in the forum yesterday, but I don't know if the Ukrainian Foreign Minister can come under these circumstances,” he said.
