Ukraine Temporarily Bans Gas Exports from Its Territory
Ukraine has temporarily banned the export of gas from its territory. This was reported by Sergey Perelman, the acting CEO of Ukrtransgaz, on his Facebook page.
"The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine has prohibited market participants from exporting natural gas from our customs territory. This also applies to gas stored in Ukraine's underground gas storage facilities under the 'customs warehouse' regime," he wrote.
Perelman emphasized that the restrictions have been implemented by the Ministry of Energy's order on March 3, due to combat operations taking place within Ukraine.
