Ukrainian Forces Deploy Grad Stations North of the Capital: What is the Objective?

Russian Armed Forces will not strike peaceful residential areas or apartment buildings in Kyiv. This was announced by Russian Defense Ministry General Igor Konashenkov, as reported by RIA Novosti.

“The Russian Armed Forces will not strike peaceful residential areas of Kyiv,” said the general.

In his statement, Konashenkov also addressed the residents of Ukraine, saying, “Your nationalist leadership is using the same methods as terrorists; they want to use you as a human shield,” stated the military official.

He added that Ukrainian forces have deployed Grad rocket systems in the northern part of the capital, in Shevchenko Square, to target Hostomel Airport. “The Pentagon and CIA advisors have taught the Ukrainian military command how to position rocket artillery systems in residential areas to provoke retaliatory fire on local residents,” said Konashenkov.

The Defense Ministry representative noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are not participating in military operations in Donbass; only Ukrainian Nazi battalions are putting up resistance. They are also blowing up bridges to hinder their retreat.
