The New Wave of Ruble Devaluation Will Cause Serious Problems: 'Zhoghovurd'

'Zhoghovurd' newspaper reports: 'For several days now, the Russian ruble has been depreciated. As a result, Armenian entrepreneurs engaged in exports to the Russian Federation find themselves in a difficult situation. Experts predict that due to the recent decline in the exchange rate of the ruble, export volumes could significantly decrease.

Naturally, this new wave of devaluation raises additional concerns and will have a negative impact on the economy of Armenia. For this reason, Armenian economic operators, especially those connected to the Russian market, are incurring huge losses.

Armenian entrepreneurs, particularly those exporting agricultural products during this period, who had certain expectations regarding the sale of their goods in the Russian market, now find themselves in a complicated situation. On the other hand, if this continues, it will also mean a significant impact on the money transferred to Armenia.

Additionally, according to experts, as the ruble's exchange rate has dropped, so has the purchasing power of the people. Therefore, there are no good prospects ahead.'
