Russian Defense Ministry intelligence data shows that units and soldiers of the Ukrainian army are massively abandoning their positions, leaving their weapons behind. This was reported by РИА-новости.
The ministry also noted that the positions of those units of the Ukrainian army that have surrendered their weapons are not being targeted by Russian strikes.
The Russian Defense Ministry reiterated that Russian armed forces are not striking Ukrainian cities, and that there is no threat to the civilian population.
