If the Decline Rate Continues, We Will Come to That Decision: Prime Minister on Mask Mandates
“We have a decrease in daily confirmed numbers, and experts say the decline rate will continue. We can discuss the issue of removing the mandatory mask requirement in indoor spaces,” Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a government meeting regarding the situation related to the coronavirus.
“Are we sure that the decline will be irreversible? Because it would not be appropriate to lift the mask requirement only to later see an increase in numbers. This needs to be analyzed in detail,” he added.
Pashinyan noted that if the decline rate continues, a decision will be made next week.
