Erdogan on Possibility of Opening Border with Armenia
The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has not ruled out the possibility of opening the border with Armenia, contingent upon the success of the ongoing negotiations between Ankara and Yerevan.
"If Armenia is steadfast in continuing the process initiated by the special representatives of both countries, then there will be no need for Turkey to maintain closed borders," he stated to Turkish journalists aboard the plane returning from Senegal, as reported by TASS.
