Putin and Aliyev Discuss the Artsakh Issue: What Was Addressed
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev addressed the Artsakh issue during a meeting. This information is reported by RIA Novosti.
“There are disputes, much work needs to be done, but we will do everything to ensure that the process proceeds peacefully. There are already certain agreements regarding the development of trade-economic ties and transport communications,” noted Putin.
According to Putin, Russia and other neighboring countries are interested in restoring commercial and transport links in Nagorno-Karabakh. The Russian president also emphasized that although issues remain in Nagorno-Karabakh, certain agreements have been reached to ensure the safety of the population in the region.
Additionally, it is noteworthy that the President of Azerbaijan has traveled to Russia for an official visit.
