When Should You Worry About Omicron Symptoms in Children and Call for Emergency Help?
The Omicron variant of the coronavirus affects children more frequently than previous strains, stated Russian anesthesiologist-rheumatologist Zoya Andreyeva.
According to KP.RU, a doctor should be called if a child has a high fever but their extremities are cold. Specialists should also be consulted for any fainting episodes and for children under one year old with elevated temperatures.
Andreyeva highlighted that unusual behavior in a child, especially amid a high fever, may indicate serious underlying issues. Additionally, doctors should be contacted if the child experiences rashes, vomiting, or liquid stools lasting more than one day.
