Putin Jokes About the 'Precise Date' of Ukraine Invasion
Russian President Vladimir Putin has been regularly joking about the 'precise date' of Russia's mythical invasion. As reported by RIA Novosti, this was stated by the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov.
“Putin sometimes jokes, given the publications concerning the dates of the 'Russian invasion', asking why the exact start time of the war is not being disclosed,” said Peskov.
It is noted that Western media shared a warning from the United States directed at European allies, claiming that according to Pentagon intelligence data, Russia is set to invade Ukraine on February 16. Russia has repeatedly denied the West's and Ukraine's accusations of 'aggressive actions', asserting that it does not threaten anyone and has no plans to attack anyone. Moreover, claims of 'Russian aggression' are viewed as a pretext for deploying more NATO military equipment near Russian borders.
