US Ready to Engage in Unconditional Dialogue with North Korea, White House Says
The White House is prepared to engage in dialogue with North Korea without preconditions and has no hostile intentions towards the country. This announcement was made by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken on February 13, according to Izvestia.
"I want to emphasize that we have no hostile intentions towards North Korea. We are still ready to engage in dialogue without preconditions if Pyongyang chooses that path," stated the head of American diplomacy, whose remarks were broadcast on the U.S. State Department's YouTube channel.
In Blinkens' view, North Korea may once again carry out provocations in response to events occurring in other regions, referencing recent missile launches by Pyongyang. "It is clear to all of us that North Korea is in a phase of provocations," he emphasized.
