Bulgarian Foreign Ministry Calls on Its Citizens in Ukraine to Leave
The Bulgarian Foreign Ministry has urged its citizens to leave Ukraine due to the changing situation in the country, according to a press release from the ministry, as reported by RIA Novosti.
"Due to the changing security situation in Ukraine and its surroundings, we call on Bulgarian citizens to refrain from any travel to that country. We ask Bulgarian citizens currently in Ukraine to reconsider the possibility of leaving the country using any available means of transport," the ministry's statement said.
The Bulgarian Foreign Ministry noted that, if necessary, Bulgarian citizens in Ukraine can contact the Bulgarian embassy in Kyiv, the consulate general in Odesa, or write an email to those representations.
