Ottawa Urges Canadians to Leave Ukraine

The Canadian authorities have urged their citizens to leave the territory of Ukraine immediately. This was announced by Canada's Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly.

“While we continue to work closely with our partners and monitor the situation, I urge all Canadians in Ukraine to take immediate measures to leave the country now,” said the diplomat.

Nevertheless, Joly noted that Canadian diplomats remain at their posts and continue to provide consular services.

It should be recalled that earlier, similar calls were made to their citizens by the United States, Israel, the United Kingdom, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Japan, South Korea, and Norway. Diplomats from these countries consider the situation in Ukraine to be unpredictable.
