Macron Refuses to Take COVID Test in Moscow
The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, has refused to undergo a Russian COVID test ahead of his meeting with President Vladimir Putin. This information has been confirmed by the Kremlin's press service.
According to French sources reported by the BBC, the health procedures applied in Russia were unacceptable to Macron.
Earlier reports indicated that Macron declined the PCR test due to concerns that his DNA could end up in Russian hands.
The two leaders held discussions while seated at a considerable distance, and there was no handshake exchanged.
