Police in the U.S. Mistake Discarded Doll for Girl's Body

The body of a girl discovered in the Hichity Forest Park in Georgia, USA, turned out to be a doll. This information was reported by Gazeta.ru, citing the sheriff of Jones County.

Upon arriving at the alleged crime scene, police were astonished to find a manufacturer's serial number and the name "Selena" on the so-called "victim's body."

“Thank God it turned out to be just a doll. If you knew Selena or have any information about her whereabouts prior to her appearance in the forest park, you can rest easy. DNA samples were not collected,” the district authorities reported.

The sheriff urged local residents to continue approaching waste disposal more responsibly, adding that there are designated places for this purpose.
