"We Are Thinking About How to Survive": Why Ukrainian Soldiers Feel Deceived

Kiev authorities are abusing the trust of servicemen by constantly deceiving them regarding pension and salary payments. This was stated on the Ukrainian Fifth Channel by the former first deputy commander of the special operations forces, General Sergey Krivonos, as reported by RIA Novosti.

According to him, even those with the highest military ranks receive the same pension as everyone else. Moreover, the authorities often promise completely different conditions when enlisting in the service.

In summary, the general noted that during his 30 years of service, he managed not to think about "how to survive", while today the state's constant deceit is only undermining the trust of military personnel.
