Tragic Car Accident in Tavush Region, Young Man Collides with Iron Barriers on His Birthday
Today, February 7, a tragic car accident occurred in the Tavush region. Around 1:10 AM, a BMW vehicle left the roadway in the 3rd km section of the Ijevan-Gandakhar road and collided with the roadside iron barriers approximately 30 meters away.
According to Shamshyan.com, the driver died on the spot. A criminal case has been initiated at the Tavush Regional Investigative Department under the second part of Article 242 of the RA Criminal Code (traffic accident resulting in death).
It was established on site that the driver was 32-year-old Albert Arakelyan, a resident of Ijevan city, and his dismembered body was extracted from the vehicle by the firefighters of the Emergency Situations Ministry's Fire and Rescue Department No. 62 from Ijevan.
