Almaty to Cancel High Orange Terror Threat Level Starting February 7
The authorities of Almaty city in Kazakhstan have decided to cancel the high orange level of terrorist threat effective February 7, following the stabilization of the situation in the city. This was announced on Sunday by the operational headquarters.
“The City Operational Headquarters for the Fight Against Terrorism reports the stabilization of the situation in Almaty. By the decision of the head of the headquarters, the high orange level of terrorist danger is declared canceled in the territory of the country,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, special and law enforcement agencies will continue to carry out enhanced services.
