Russia Will Never Attack Ukraine: Norat Ter-Grigoryants

Russia will never attack Ukraine; it is the West that is dragging it into conflict. However, Russia is nonetheless bringing its armed forces and nuclear weapons to a state of readiness. This was stated by Norat Ter-Grigoryants, the former chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, in an interview with NEWS.am.

He recalled that Russia has demanded NATO to cease its movements toward its borders. He expressed confidence that Russia cannot be defeated through military means.

“History proves this. No country in the world possesses weapons like those of Russia. Russia can only collapse through inter-ethnic phenomena. This is being actively pursued, including in Turkey and Azerbaijan,” noted Ter-Grigoryants.
