VIDEO: Man Throws Turkish Flag to the Ground in Baku, Detained
Fuad Ismailov cut the cord holding the Turkish flag fixed to a metal pole in Baku. This was reported by Azerbaijani post-factum Telegram channels.
As a result, the Turkish flag fell to the ground. He was detained on the same day on the grounds of showing disrespect towards the Turkish flag.
It should be noted that Azerbaijani legislation does not contain any legal norm that prescribes administrative or criminal liability for showing similar disrespect towards the flag of another state, except for Azerbaijan.
