Russia Demands Immediate Withdrawal of Foreign Troops from Syria
The Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, Dmitry Polyanskiy, has announced that Russian authorities demand the withdrawal of foreign troops from Syria. His remarks were reported by RIA Novosti.
Polyanskiy emphasized that the illegally present forces in Syria must leave the country without delay, adding that the United States has failed to overcome the fight against terrorism.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov predicted the imminent withdrawal of US forces from Syria. According to him, the United States will leave the country, as the situation has become 'inconvenient' for them, leading to numerous challenges.
