Apartment Burglary in Yerevan: A Bank Employee's Home Robbed
Today, January 19, a case of residential burglary occurred in Yerevan. Around 00:10, the police department of Nor Norq received a call from a 31-year-old resident of Yerevan's Tsarav Aghbyur Street, L. Pashinyan, who reported that upon returning home, he discovered his house had been robbed.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, an operational group from the Avan police department and a team from the Investigative Committee of Armenia’s Avan and Nor Norq administrative districts went to the specified address. At the scene, L. Pashinyan informed the police and investigators that, likely between 08:30 and 23:30 on January 18, an unknown individual or individuals had entered his apartment using technical means and stolen gold jewelry from there.
An investigation is underway, with materials being prepared by investigator Nikoghosyan. According to G. Shamshyan's reports, L. Pashinyan also informed the police and investigators that he works as the head of the sales department at one of Armenia's well-known banks.
