Zakharova Comments on Pashinyan's Statement
Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, responded to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statement regarding the return of refugees by quoting the 7th point of the November 9 declaration, as reported by RIA Novosti.
"Internally displaced persons and refugees are returning to the territories of Nagorno-Karabakh and adjacent regions under the control of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees," Zakharova quoted, adding, "I have nothing to add to that."
It is noteworthy that during an online press conference on December 24, Pashinyan stated that throughout the entire negotiation process, "the rights of Azerbaijanis living in Nagorno-Karabakh have never been contested at any time, by any authority or any negotiator."
