Azerbaijan Presents Intelligence Report on the Armenian Community in Argentina

Azerbaijan has compiled and published an illegal intelligence report regarding the Armenian community in Argentina on December 23. The report analyzes Armenian institutions and provides personal data on various figures within the Argentine community. It also condemns individuals in the political sphere who have supported the struggle for the recognition of the Armenian Genocide, as well as those who expressed opinions during the war initiated by Azerbaijan and Turkey in 2020.

The text systematically denies the Armenian Genocide, echoing the official denialist positions of the Azerbaijani and Turkish governments. The report accuses the Armenian community in Argentina of purportedly being 'unaware' of the 'current political situation in Armenia' and of hindering dialogue with Turkey and Azerbaijan.

According to Diario ARMENIA, this is an illegal report in Argentina, where the National Intelligence Law (No. 25,520) prohibits foreign organizations from conducting or executing intelligence operations within the country.
