Armenian Government Approves New Economic Development Plan
The Armenian government, on Thursday, officially approved a new economic development plan that seeks to foster sustainable growth and enhance the investment climate in the country. This plan is anticipated to reshape key sectors of the economy, including technology, agriculture, and tourism.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated during the announcement, "This plan is not just a roadmap for economic reforms; it is our commitment to the Armenian people to create better living conditions and opportunities for everyone."
The strategy outlines specific measures to improve infrastructure, streamline business regulations, and promote innovation. The government aims to increase the share of the private sector in the economy and attract foreign direct investments by offering incentives and support for new businesses.
Experts believe that the implementation of this plan will lead to job creation and a more diversified economy. Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobian added, "We envision an Armenia that is competitive, resilient, and integrated into the global market."
