Visitations to Mamikon Aslanyan Prohibited
According to the newspaper "Hraparak," "Mamikon Aslanyan has been in custody for 12 days and is currently at the 'Vardashen' penitentiary. As of December 21, visitations with him have been prohibited by the investigator's decision. Currently, only his defense attorneys can visit him; even members of parliament are not allowed to enter.
On December 21, he was visited by parliamentary members Hayk Mamijanyan and Taron Margaryan from the 'I Have Honor' faction, and earlier by Arthur Vanetsyan. Regarding the grounds for the visitation ban, his attorney Yervand Varosyan stated that there are no grounds for this, and it is likely that they are acting on Prime Minister Pashinyan's orders." More details can be found in today's newspaper issue.
