Vandalism in Gegharkunik Region: Grave of Deceased Damaged

Days ago, an act of vandalism occurred in the Gegharkunik region. On December 26, a 67-year-old resident of Gegharkunik, identified as Z. D., approached the Chambarak police station and reported that between December 19 and December 26, an unknown individual or individuals had broken the gravestone of her husband, A. S., who passed away in 2020, at the cemetery in the village of Ttujur, while the burial slab had also been overturned.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, an operational group from the Chambarak police station arrived at the scene, led by station head Sasun Harutyunyan. Investigative materials are being prepared regarding the incident at the Chambarak police station.
