Romanos Petrosyan's Financial Assets Have Sharply Increased
The newly appointed head of the State Revenue Committee, Romanos Petrosyan, declared a residential property in Kotayk Province in his annual statement for 2020, which he acquired in 2001. He also declared a plot of land in Kotayk Province acquired in 2014 and an apartment in the Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan, purchased in November 2019. During the year, Petrosyan sold his BMW X5 vehicle. This was reported by MediaHub.am.
Petrosyan declared 60% of share certificates. At the beginning of the year, his bank account had 1,924,091 dram, which increased to 3,861,203 dram by the end of the year. His cash holdings also grew from 850,000 dram at the start of the year to 5,750,000 dram. He declared an income of 8,308,526 dram from the Kotayk regional administration as salary. He received 5,687,889 dram from the Ministry of Environment and another 3,005,573 dram from the State Revenue Committee. The sale of his vehicle is worth 3,000,000 dram.
Petrosyan's wife declared 147,296 dram in her bank account and 950,000 dram in cash. She received 819,420 dram from the SMART Foundation for Innovative Education and Cultural Development as a salary and 1,083,128 dram as salary from Abovyan Multidisciplinary State College.
