‘Honorary’ to Join Alan Simonian’s Resignation Demand by ‘Armenia’ Alliance
On Monday, the 'Honorary' faction will hold a meeting where they will present their decision, either joining the partners of the 'Armenia' alliance or separately introducing a motion for the resignation of the Speaker of the National Assembly. This was stated by Hayk Mamijanyan, the secretary of the 'Honorary' faction, in a conversation with Irakanum.am.
Previously, the 'Armenia' alliance had put forward such a proposal.
Regarding the reports published in the media that Arthur Vanetsyan, Taguhi Tovmasyan, and Ishkhan Zakaryan refused to sign the document presented by the 'Armenia' alliance, Arthur Vanetsyan’s spokesperson Sos Hakobyan clarified that introducing a resignation motion for the Speaker of the Parliament does not require gathering separate signatures from individual members, as it will be presented on behalf of the faction.
