Earthquake Recorded in Turkey
An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 has struck eastern Turkey. The information was reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).
According to EMSC, the tremors occurred at 21:46 UTC (00:46 Yerevan time), and the epicenter was located at a depth of 8 kilometers. The epicenter was found 47 kilometers north of the city of Van, which is home to approximately 371,000 residents.
As of now, there are no reports of casualties or damages.
