“Routes Are Being Discussed at This Stage”: Deputy Minister on Unblocking
Today, during a conversation with reporters, Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Armen Simonian discussed the issue of transportation unblocking. “According to point nine of the November 9 announcement, it is expected that there will be an unblocking of transport and economic links,” noted the Deputy Minister.
“It is clear which railway routes we have: one is the direction from Yeraskh to Nakhchivan, another is the southern route, then there is the direction from Hrazdan to Ijevan towards Azerbaijan, and we also have the currently operational route through Georgia, as well as another railway route that goes towards Turkey,” Simonian stated, adding that at this stage, routes and border crossing procedures are still being discussed.
