Video: The Flame for the Winter Olympics Has Been Lit in Greece
The flame for the Winter Olympic Games, which will be held in Beijing in 2022, has been lit in Greece. This was reported by AFP.
The ceremony took place at the ancient stadium of Olympia with the participation of Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou, IOC President Thomas Bach, Greek National Olympic Committee head Spyros Kapralos, and other officials.
On October 19, the flame will be handed over to the Chinese delegation, after which it will be delivered to China. The 24th Winter Olympic Games will take place in Beijing from February 4 to 20, 2022.
