This Time Iran Is Not Alone: New Military Exercises in Iran

The Iranian and Pakistani sides have agreed to conduct joint naval exercises in the future. This was announced by Mohammad Bagheri, the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, as reported by TASS.

"We have reached good agreements, including the future conduct of joint naval exercises in the territorial waters of both Pakistan and Iran," he stated.

The Chief of Staff also mentioned that the Pakistani Navy will participate in joint exercises with the navies of China, Russia, and Iran, scheduled for late 2021 to early 2022.

According to Bagheri, "Iran's membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) will certainly strengthen Tehran's relations with Islamabad and other member countries of the organization."
