Prime Minister: The Quality of Our Daily Work Will Be Crucial for the Future of Our Country
During today’s regular government meeting, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan presented his message on the occasion of the budget proposal approval. He noted that the budget proposal is based on three main priorities: reforming the security system, developing infrastructure, and advancing education and science.
Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the program for providing financial support, according to which, starting from January 1, 2022, the third and any subsequent newborn child will receive government support of fifty thousand drams per month until the age of six.
Pashinyan addressed investments and stated that legislative changes are planned. “In Armenia, the processes of public procurement, competitions, and tenders are conducted as transparently, fairly, and honestly as possible,” he said.
He also presented other provisions of the proposal and concluded by stating, “We are at a turning point, and the quality of our daily work in all sectors—from foreign policy to agriculture—will have a decisive importance for the future of our country.”
He noted that sometimes an attempt is made to create the impression that the government does not want to confront challenges, and emphasized that, on the contrary, their goal is to face these challenges and address their solutions with the aim of opening an era of peaceful development for Armenia and the region.
